Thanks for your interest in performing at Buffa’s. We’re a small but mighty venue — our Back Room seats about 50 comfortably, with a max of 63 if we squeeze, and up to 80 with standing room. The stage fits up to four musicians comfortably.

We’ve got a house PA system, mixing board, and microphones ready to go. You’re welcome to bring your own gear, but keep in mind — this is a small space in a residential area, so volume matters. There’s a decibel meter on the back wall to help you keep it within bounds.

We believe musicians should get paid fairly. You’ll receive 100% of all ticket sales (advance and at the door) and any Internet and (of course) on-site tips. We also kick in a $50 guarantee, just in case turnout’s light. Advance tickets are usually $8, door tickets $10 — but you’re free to set your own price. We just collect the money and pass it along. Just let us know what you want to charge. If you don't tell us a price, we'll go with $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

Want to bring guests? No problem. You can comp as many as you like — just give us a heads-up so we can block off those tickets online.

Each performer gets a comp meal OR two drinks, plus 25% off anything else. If you want to give your comp to a guest, just let your server know.

We typically pay within 24 hours via Venmo. We can also use PayPal or Zelle. We're human, so please reach out if you don't get paid when expected or things don't look right.

Buffa's Bar & Restaurant ("Buffa's") operates buffasbar.com, musicians.buffasbar.com and may operate other websites. It is Buffa's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Buffa's collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Buffa's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Buffa's visitors use its website. From time to time, Buffa's may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Buffa's also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on www.sugarindustrytechnologists.com blogs/sites. Buffa's only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that commenter IP addresses and email addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog/site where the comment was left.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to Buffa's websites choose to interact with Buffa's in ways that require Buffa's to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Buffa's gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up at www.sugarindustrytechnologists.com to provide a username and email address. Those who engage in transactions with Buffa's are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In each case, Buffa's collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor's interaction with Buffa's . Buffa's uses cookies to help Buffa's identify and track visitors, their usage of Buffa's website, and their website access preferences.   5. Responsibility of Website Visitors
    Buffa's is not responsible for content posted by others, nor for resulting harm.
